Villa Semua Suka (1-4 persons) and Bungalow Jepun (1-2 persons) are a 15 minute walk from the center of Ubud, considered the heart and soul of Bali. They were built by us in 2011. The villas are in a walled compound about 10 steps up from the main street, Jalan Sangiggan, and then a 200 meter walk along a small path. We are surrounded by other villas and the homes of local Balinese rice farmers and rice fields. Being on a walking path ensures the absence of motorized vehicles, vehicular noise and pollution. Our compound consists of two villas separated by a pool, lush vegetation and a koi pond with a small waterfall. It is completely walled, beautifully landscaped and has a staff of three. Villa Semua Suka and Bungalow Jepun can be rented either together or individually.
Hyacinth House (1-3 Persons) can be found a little further along the same walking path. It is a Balinese style home, with a gated private garden and small pool that has been recently extensively updated to Western standards. There is newly refurbished and upholstered furniture, kitchen appliances, and high quality linens and bedding.
Villa Sunrise (1-8 persons), was built in 2002 and is in the village of Tejakula, a small fishing and farming village on the north shore of Bali. It is just footsteps from the ocean, and you can snorkel just 30 feet from the front of the house, where the waters are often as warm and calm as a lake. We are situated just next to Gaia Oasis, a very small European boutique resort (www.Gaia-Oasis.com), and are privileged to be able to use their restaurant, pool, spa services and yoga classes for a small fee. We have a property manager, and her husband who cooks breakfast, cleans and does the laundry and gardening. We are also situated 20-45 minutes from some of the best scuba diving spots in Bali.
All four Villas are rented throughout the year, by families, couples and others wanting to experience the joys of living in Bali. We provide a comfortable experience including daily maid service, air conditioned bedrooms, sumptuous breakfasts, and lots of information about what to do and see on the Island of the Gods.
Bali is a land that need to be experienced both in the mountains as well as the ocean. The mountains are where you find handicrafts, gamelan, dance and art.
The ocean is a place for contemplation, rest and relaxation, spa activities and snorkeling.
We invite you to stay at one or both houses...depending upon your interests and inclinations.
For many years called "Island of the Gods" and "Heaven on Earth" this island paradise of warm, friendly people and rich culture has been an inspiration to famous artists and musicians and enjoys a renowned reputation for its superb craftsmanship.
